VIAGEOS s.r.o. is a specialised road consulting firm, which, since 1992, has been
operating an ARAN (Automatic Road Analyzer) multifunction diagnostic vehicle,
manufactured by the Canadian company ROADWARE Group Inc. of Paris, Ontario
(www.roadware.com).
This vehicle is the most commonly used system for comprehensive road diagnostics in
the world (so far, 80 of these vehicles have been produced). The vehicles meet
all of the demanding international certification and homologation regulations
required by the US and the EU.
The vehicle owned by the company is one of the best equipped in the production series, enhanced by the manufacturer on an ongoing basis and calibrated every year, and therefore, it continues to represent state-of-the-art technology in this area.
Our company employs experienced professionals in the field of road diagnostics, assessment of road performance from various points-of-view, and in the GPS technology and its applications, for generating a digital road map of the Czech Republic.
We hold a licence for the HDM-4 V1.3 (Highway Development Management) software program, and are able to store our diagnostic data in this sophisticated program, which is a precondition for obtaining road infrastructure investment funds from international financial institutions (EBRD, PHARE, etc.).
