        roads and expert systems for road grid management, application of the GPS land survey
        method, generating GIS.
  • Land survey for the needs of GIS

  • Evaluations of technical conditions of the road grid or its parts using our own HDM-4 licence
        and measured variable parameters which the system regards as dominant – the rut depth,
        the coefficient of longitudinal irregularity IRI, surface macro-texture and road
        surface distresses (cracks, rawelling, potholes). From these parameters we determine the
        need for further measurements of the remaining parameters such as anti-skid properties and
        load-bearing capacity, to be performed by subcontractors. Using this program, we also
        assess the effects of unsuitable road alignment parameters. These parameters are
        measured in the same fashion as the mentioned variable parameters in a single run of the
        ARAN diagnostic vehicle, driving at a speed of between 50 and 90 km/h.

  • A comprehensive road database and its maintenance, including auxiliary services for the
        needs of road management administrative bodies, particularly for the newly established
         “higher regional units”

    A comprehensive input for a qualified evaluation of newly built roads includes:

  • Diagnostics of road surface quality
  • Diagnostics of airport apron surface quality

  • Measurements of cross-sectional irregularities and compliance with the designed cross-
        section of newly resurfaced bitumen, bitumen-concrete and concrete roads

  • Measurements of the road longitudinal profile at 20 cm intervals
  • Measurements of the road surface macro-texture
  • Detailed measurements of the depth, shape and configuration of the abrasive layer granules

  • Making high-quality video-recordings of road surfaces, the condition of technical fittings and
        visibility ranges
  • Classification of cracks, rawelling, blisters, potholes, bumps and other road damages

  • Accurate location of all measured parameters and damages
  • Simultaneous measurements of all parameters
  • Daily coverage 100 km, results available immediately
